Successfully concludes deals for Latin America
Las Vegas, NV– January 26, 2010 – Leading independent studio E1 Entertainment is having a successful jump start at NATPE closing major deals for titles such as MAJORITY RULES, STORMWORLD, REMEDY ME and SKIN DEEP for pay TV rights in Latin America.
“I am delighted with the sales,” commented Valerie Cabrera, Executive Vice President, International TV Group E1 Entertainment. “Latin America continues to be a strong market for us across all genres.”
Sold to Cartoon Network, MAJORITY RULES (26 x 30) is a tween comedy series that revolves around the life of Becky played by Tracy Spiridakos (The Secret Lives of Second Wives), as her world gets turned upside down when she tries to balance friends, family, high school, relationships and politics.
Sold to HBO Ole, STORMWORLD (26 x 30) is about Jason and Lee who go on a joyride on Jason's dad's new boat until they get caught in a swirling vortex that brings them to Stormworld: a parallel universe with three suns, mind-distorting storms and wild coastlines. One thing is constant for Jason, Lee, and almost everyone trapped in Stormworld: the search for the way home. The teen sci-fi series will premiere March 10, 2010.
Both lifestyle television series, REMEDY ME (13 x 30) and SKIN DEEP (52 x 30) were sold to Discovery. Each week, REMEDY ME enters the lives of two different people suffering from the same disagreeable and often embarrassing ailment from gas and hemorrhoids to restless legs syndrome and PMS who have exhausted their options with conventional medicine and is ready to try something new. Join them on their personal quest as they explore the world of complementary and alternative medicine in search of a remedy. SKIN DEEP presents a personal, revealing look at the costly emotional journey taken by an increasing number of women and men who feel driven to redesign their bodies.
