E1 Kids Programming Nominated for Five Children’s BAFTA Awards

Confirms position as a leading provider of children’s branded entertainment

 

LONDON/TORONTO – October 28, 2009 – E1 Entertainment Ltd. (AIM: ETO), is proud to confirm the following nominations:

It’s been quite the year for E1 Kids. Peppa Pig, Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom and Humf consistently occupied the top slots on Nick Jr. in the U.K. Globally, the rights to Peppa Pig alone have been sold in 180 countries, including France, Germany and Japan.

Peppa Pig won ‘Best Pre-School Licensed Property’ at this year’s Licensing Awards. In the U.K. alone there are 57 licensees, covering everything from toys and clothing to strollers and roller-skates.  A Peppa Pig stage show is touring the U.K. through 2010. Ben & Holly’s Little Kingdom licensing program will launch in 2010, and is poised to emulate the Peppa Pig success story. All E1 Kids licensing activities are managed exclusively by E1 Licensing.
