Entertainment One Ltd. appoints Robert Lantos to its board of directors

TORONTO, Sept. 25 /CNW/ - Entertainment One Ltd. ("Entertainment One" or the "Company") today announces the appointment of Robert Lantos to the board of the Company as a non-executive director, and the resignation of Mark Trachuk as a non-executive director with immediate effect.
Mr Lantos, 59, has more than 35 years experience in the motion picture industry. Mr Lantos is the producer of Cannes and Golden Globe winning and Academy Award Nominated films including Eastern Promises, Fugitive Pieces and Being Julia. Mr Lantos was owner of Maximum Film Distribution and Maximum Film International, the film distribution companies recently acquired by the Company. Mr Lantos also owns Serendipity Point Films, a film and television production company based in Toronto, Canada. Prior to 1998, Mr Lantos was co-founder and Chairman of Alliance Communications Corporation.
David Williams, Non-Executive Chairman of Entertainment One, said: "We are delighted that Robert has agreed to join the board of Entertainment One.
